From a Dream to Deliciousness
Our story begins with a simple love for waffles. Founder Sohayb Algharibeh, a passionate home baker, spent years perfecting his waffle recipe in a cozy kitchen. Friends and family couldn’t get enough of the crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside creations, and word quickly spread. Encouraged by the overwhelming support, Sohayb decided to share his passion with the world.
The First Yummy Waffle
In 2022, the first Yummy Waffle shop opened its doors in a small, charming corner of Ottawa. The aroma of freshly baked waffles and brewing coffee quickly drew in crowds. We started with our classic buttermilk waffle, but soon expanded our menu to include a variety of sweet and savory toppings, homemade ice creams, and artisanal coffees. Our mission was simple: to create a happy place where people could enjoy delicious, high-quality waffles made with love.
